Two full days with FLOCK in Chicago!
These advanced workshops are open to professional and pre-professional dancers 18+ and will focus on FLOCK technique and repertoire. Over the weekend of July 11–12, Alice and Florian will guide you through FLOCK's distinctive approach to movement. Sign up for one day or the whole weekend! No audition necessary.
Each day begins with a FLOCK warmup including breath work, stabilization/strengthening, improvisation, group tasks, and movement to unlock your body's potential.
You will learn excerpts from FLOCK repertoire, guided into the physical and emotional components of the work.
You will explore FLOCK movement and creation techniques, developing new tools to generate, perform, and inhabit movement with your own personal artistry.
